How do I sign up?

Call (209) 522-2300 to have an application mailed to you.


How long does it take once I sign up to start using the program?

It will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to complete the eligibility process.


Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit.


Will you provide a driver?

No, we do not provide drivers. You may choose a care provider, family member, friend or neighbor to drive for you.


What do I do if I cannot locate a driver?

Contact our office at (209) 522-2300 and we will make suggestions on different ways to identify a driver.


How much does this program cost?

There is no cost to applicants, the entire process is free of charge.


How much is the reimbursement?

Once determined eligible, the reimbusement is $0.50 per mile.


Who receives the reimbursement?

Reimbursement is paid to the rider, who then gives the money to their drivers.


How often do I have to send in my mileage?

The mileage is due by the 5th of each month. Late mileage will not be reimbursed.


Can I take trips outside of Stanislaus County?

Medical trips outside the county may be reimbursed if PREAPPROVED and riders submit visit verification along with their mileage reimbursement form.


How many drivers can I have?

You are allowed up to 3 drivers.


Who qualifies for the program?

Individuals whom are unable to ride public transit and need door-through-door assistance.
