Individuals who are unable to drive or use public transit may be eligible for the program.

How do I sign up?

Sign up by: completing an application online here, calling (209)522-2300 to request an application by mail, or by downloading an application form*

How long does it take once I apply to start using the program?

The eligiblity process can take up to 2 to 3 weeks. You will be notified by mail once a determination is made.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit.

Will you provide a driver?

No, we do not provide drivers. You are responsible for finding a driver who is at least 21 years old.

What do I do if I cannot locate a driver?

If you do not have a friend, neighbor, or family member who is able to drive for you, contact us at  (209) 522-2300. We will suggest different ways to identify a driver.

How much does this program cost?

This program is free of charge.

How much is the reimbursement?

Participants are reimbursed $0.50 per mile.

Who receives the reimbursement?

The program participant (rider) will receive a monthly reimbursement check from MOVE. Once you receive the check, pay your driver.

How often do I have to send in my mileage?

If you are mailing it in, mileage forms are due by the 5th day of each month. If you are submitting online, your mileage is due by 10th day of each month. Late mileage will not be reimbursed.

Can I take trips outside of Stanislaus County?

Medcial trips outside of the county must be pre-approved and submitted with a visit verification to be reimbursed.

How many drivers can I have?

You may have up to 3 drivers.
