Mattias joined MOVE in February 2015, as a Travel Trainer. Over the years he has been trained in: first-aid, non-violent crisis intervention, behavioral management, water safety, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) eligibility, and much more.
Mattias has over 7 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities. He has worked as an instructor at a day program, helping individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential and develop independent living/job-readiness skills, as well as a camp-counselor for a non-profit mission organization where he provided personalized 24/5 care for people with disabilities of all ages.
Working with the differently abled population, individuals from other countries, and various professionals has granted Mattias a balanced set of interpersonal skills fitting for his job as a travel trainer with MOVE.
Mattias is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with MOVE in Stanislaus County and is always seeking to find new ideas and solutions to better assist people obtain the best quality of life possible.
